We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff members were friendly and helpful, doing their best to communicate with us in English. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great view. The onsen's water quality was excellent. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the hotel facilities were good.
Was all great.

Wanted to explore Minamioguni and this hotel was right place for doing it. Moreover, free Wi-Fi was handy. Next to the downtown, 5 minutes on foot...

The mountain view was a bonus. It was steps away from Minamioguni city center. Loved that the room included central heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a work desk. The staff was HELPFUL and that's why we recommend it.

Great baths and delicious meals. We had a wonderful stay at a traditional inn located in a hot spring resort. The baths, including the private ones, were fantastic. We also enjoyed the delicious Japanese meals that were included. the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby hot springs and other attractions.
Room size could have been bigger. The only downside was that the rooms were on the smaller side, but that's to be expected in a traditional Japanese inn.

Had a great Easter stay! Absolutely loved the lovely private baths available, as well as the beautiful traditional decor. the location was ideal, with easy access to town. Enjoyed the delicious local meal in the room and was impressed with the friendly and attentive staff.
The size of the room, which was quite small for the price. the traditional beds were quite firm, and weren't as comfortable as some Western-style beds.

We stayed at a traditional hotel in a lovely setting. the room was comfortable with a view of the surroundings and had a heater to keep us warm at night. the staff was friendly, helpful, and speaks good English. the dinner was good, served in the room. There were several onsen baths, including private ones. the yukata robes were great and a cute small bag was given to us with useful stuff like towels, socks, hairbrush, etc.
The hotel could have been cleaner in the common areas, rooms, and bathrooms.

My stay at Ryokan Nanjoen was absolutely wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the private semi-open onsen. The dinner was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary preferences. They even replaced the horse sashimi with chicken sashimi upon request. The ryokan is located in a charming area with narrow streets to explore, and the car park in front of the ryokan was convenient. I highly recommend this ryokan for a cozy and enjoyable stay.
